If you love to try new foods and are a huge Disney fan then you should make reservations to eat at Aulani while you’re here on Oahu, Hawaii. We’ve made it a little tradition to take our little girls to eat breakfast here at Aulani for their birthdays. They absolutely love it. The music, the food, and of course the characters. Though my youngest didn’t care to be no where near them, my oldest, Bella, wouldn’t eat just to be with them.
We’ve been here twice already and can’t wait to go again this year. My girls love it and it’s worth it every minute. Just seeing them do all the activities that they have with the characters and watch them dance along to their music and sing their songs is truly a memorable experience.
Before You Go
Before going to the breakfast make sure to plan ahead. Head on over to their website (click here) and make reservations ahead of time. This breakfast is very popular and reservations weeks before are a must. They also have a sample menu on their website of all the different types of foods that they have. They have foods from different Hawaiian islands along with typical American breakfast dishes. There’s a little bit of everything for everyone. If you are getting something to drink I recommend to try the POG. It’s a Hawaiian juice with passion fruit, orange, and guava. It’s absolutely amazing. While making reservations, you can also order a cake for the birthday princess and they will have it ready for you along with your reservations.
When You Arrive
When you first arrive you will take pictures with Mickey Mouse and have a chance to order the picture package for you to take home. The server will come to your table to show you your pictures and make any changes to your package. You can also order more pictures at the gift shop with the ticket that they give you. You will then be taken to your seating area. We always sit on the outside dinning area where all the action is at so we can keep a close eye on our little girls while they dance and play with Minnie, Mickey, and Goofy. Don’t forget to take pictures and make memories to last while you’re here. If you are staying at the resort enjoy all the other things you can do like the pools, spa, snorkeling, etc. I live here so I have no reason to stay at the hotel but I always pass by and enjoy it. I’m sure if we did stay it would be an amazing experience.

After breakfast make sure to take a walk around the beach and even enjoy the rest of the day relaxing and swimming at one of the most kid-friendly beaches here on Oahu.

Is there a photo op or chance to meet Stitch or see the nightly luau if your not a guest of the hotel?
I’m not to sure about that but I would call the customer service number on there website just to be sure. I wouldn’t see why not but I’m sure they will make you pay for it. We have done the spa day before and had to pay a few hundred for it so be prepared to pay higher prices if they do allow it.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading your blog post about why parents should take their children to Disney’s Character Breakfast at Aulani Resort in Kapolei, Hawaii.
You did an excellent job highlighting the unique aspects of the Character Breakfast experience. The opportunity for children to interact with beloved Disney characters in a tropical paradise like Aulani Resort is undoubtedly magical. The engaging storytelling, vibrant atmosphere, and delicious food are sure to create lasting memories for both kids and parents alike.
I appreciate how you mentioned the benefits of starting the day with a fun-filled breakfast. It not only sets a positive tone for the rest of the day but also provides an opportunity for children to engage with characters they adore in a relaxed and joyful environment. The chance to have photos taken with their favorite Disney friends is an added bonus, as these mementos can be cherished for years to come.
Furthermore, I agree with your point about the value of character interactions for children’s development. Meeting Disney characters can ignite their imagination, boost their confidence, and foster social skills. It’s heartwarming to hear how your daughter’s interaction with Moana left her feeling empowered and encouraged her to pursue her dreams.
The inclusion of practical details about the reservation process, prices, and the availability of gluten-free options is incredibly helpful for parents who may be considering this experience. It shows that you’ve done your research and are committed to providing valuable information to your readers.
If I may offer a suggestion, it could be beneficial to include a section that addresses potential concerns or drawbacks. While the Character Breakfast sounds amazing overall, some parents might have questions about accessibility for children with special needs, or they may want to know if there are any age restrictions or height requirements for certain activities. By addressing these aspects, you can further enhance the usefulness of your article.
Overall, your blog post presents a compelling case for why parents should consider taking their children to Disney’s Character Breakfast at Aulani Resort. Your enthusiasm and personal anecdotes help bring the experience to life, making it easy for readers to imagine the joy and excitement their own children would experience in such a magical setting.
Thank you for sharing your insights and providing a comprehensive review of this delightful opportunity. I look forward to reading more of your travel adventures and recommendations in the future.
