Waimea Falls, Oahu, Hawaii

Hawaii is well-known for the beaches, surf and beautiful hikes. One of the most family friendly and relaxed hikes on all of Oahu can be found on North Shore. Waimea Valley Falls is a hike that is paved and handicapped accessible, and with a rewarding waterfall view at the end. It is well-known amongst the Hawaiians as a place of worship and peace but now is a tourist area for everyone to learn about the Hawaiian culture and why this place has such high importance for the Hawaiians, their gods,

Guide To El Morro in Viejo San Juan, Puerto Rico

If walls could talk?! That’s all that came to mind while I walked through this fortress, Castillo San Felipe del Morro, named after King Phillip II from Spain. This castle is also known as, “El Morro.” This gorgeous structure was built-in the 1600’s as a fort to protect sea-borne enemies from entering the San Juan Bay. This is one of Puerto Rico’s number one attraction points since 1983 when it was declared a World Heritage Site. You can learn more about the history of Puerto Rico here.

Hiking Diamond Head, Honolulu, Hawaii

One of the easiest and most beautiful hikes that my family and I enjoyed doing was Diamond Head. This beautiful scenic path in the heart of Honolulu has views overlooking the entire south and southeast side of the island of Oahu. The views were breathtaking and definitely worth the hike up to the top of the crater.

Trails of all sorts and through so many different types of terrains. Well I am here to share one of our favorite family hiking trails, Manoa Falls, which is located in Honolulu, Hawaii on the gorgeous island of Oahu.

Guide to Lanikai Pillbox Hike, Oahu, Hawaii

The small town of Lanikai in Oahu, Hawaii is probably by far my favorite place on the entire island. However, if you are looking for the best views of Lanikai I would highly recommend hiking up to the Lanikai Pillboxes up on the mountains. It is definitely worth the hike. Kailua is home to the most beautiful beach areas in Oahu. The water is a gorgeous turquoise color just like you see in the vacation magazines and it’s so clear. Just absolutely gorgeous. This destination is definitely one that you
