Exploring Disney Springs – Orlando, Florida

Orlando is known for their amusement parks especially Disney but did you know that you can enjoy some of what Disney has to offer without paying for an admission ticket. Yes! Disney has what is called Disney Springs or as others call it, “Downtown Disney,” and it has a lot to offer as well.

Disney never fails at giving you a magical moment. They always go above and beyond to bring to your that magical experience. I wasn’t sure what to expect from Disney Springs at first because there was no

Matsumoto Shave Ice – The Best Shaved Ice In All Of Oahu, Hawaii

Shaved Ice! Such a refreshing treat to have on a hot summer day. Back in my home of Puerto Rico we call them piragüas. These are one of my daughter’s favorite treats in Hawai’i. Every time we would go up to Hale’iwa, my daughter Bella would beg us to take her here. It never failed. She knew once she saw the North Short sign on the side of the road that Matsumoto was nearby.

One day my husband and I decided to see what all the fuss was about it. We decided

Guide To The Polynesian Cultural Center-Oahu, Hawaii

Anyone that has been to Hawaii knows the Aloha vibe that Hawaiian natives give off to those who visit their island. They keep such great care of their islands and the oceans around them. All locals till this day still practice their native culture and traditions. Sadly, most of us guests don’t know what their culture is all about or have had the privilege to experience how beautiful it really is. Everything from their dances to their dresses and even the way they are and how they came to be

Ehukai Pillbox Hike – Do’s and Don’t’s

The Ehukai Pillbox hike is a fun one. This hike is full of gorgeous views overlooking North Shore. The walk up was amazing but the return trip turned out to be a little longer than expected. We accidentally took a wrong turn on our way back but it was definitely worth it so don’t let this post fool you. We had a very exciting day and I will do it all over again if I could. Here’s all the Do’s and Don’t’s for this hike. Just a few key pointers

Hiking The Makapu’u Point Lighthouse Trail

If you are looking for an easy hike to do with your children that has absolutely gorgeous views all around then this is the hike for you. It is a paved hike, with a lighthouse, and several resting spots. There’s four different paths but the paved one is very stroller friendly and perfect for taking your little hikers with you.

About The Hike

The views are absolutely stunning. One side of the mountain you will see Koko Head Crater, Sandy Beach, Hanauma Bay, and even Diamond Head at a distance. On the

A Guide To Visiting The Dole Plantation.

We all know that Hawaii is known for the pineapples, it’s swells for surfing, the luaus, and for the amazing island vibes. With pineapples on the list this makes the Dole Plantation a spot that you must visit, plus you can’t leave Oahu without trying one of these delicious pineapple floats or their pineapple ice cream. It’s absolutely delicious. Me living here, sometimes I just go to eat the ice cream. Plus they have the world’s largest maze. I mean how can you not want to get lost in the

The Best Acai Bowls In Oahu, Hawaii – Haleiwa Bowls

Açaí bowls have become very popular over the last several years. Not only are they a fruit bowl full of deliciousness but they are very healthy for you. Best of all, you can make them in many different ways and add as many or as little toppings as you’d like.

What Is An Açaí Bowl

First off, let’s talk about what açaí  is. Açaí is a grape like berry that grows on açaí palmtrees in the rainforests of South Ameria. These açaí berries are filled with antioxidants, fiber, calcium, and heart healthy fats.

A Walk Through The Byodo-In Temple

Who ever thought that you would find a smaller scaled replica of the Byodo-In Temple from Uji, Japan here on Oahu, Hawaii? When I first moved here I pictured beaches, hikes, waterfalls but never would of thought of seeing a temple such as this one. When I first heard about it I knew I had to go and see it. I love their style of religion. The meditation and the tranquil environment. It just puts anyone at ease with the world and like nothing else matters.

During my time in Hawaii I
